As an apparel design student in the early 2000s, Grant engaged in a variety of activities outside the classroom setting to push the boundaries and challenge his design sensibilities. He created this dress which was featured in the book, Organic Portraits.

The photographs were taken by famed New York photographer John F. Copper.
